April 19th visit to Playfair Park

We had a walk around Playfair Park in April.  Like everything else this year, the rhodos were early bloomers.  The rhodo area was off limits as the Parks people were installing a watering system.  The camas were blooming profusely in what is called the garry oak meadow.  The Saanish pulling together volunteer group has done a wonderful job of restoring that area.    The rhodos in my garden are just finishing up their bloom period now and my camas is finished blooming.
