Pincher Creek, Alberta

Aug 1st - we are on our way from Swift Current Saskatchewan to Pincher Creek, Alberta. After our lunch stop at Medicine Hat we next stop at Taber for more groceries. We drove through Lethbridge and Fort McCloud with no stops as we are heading home. We are in the foothills of the Rockies now. There are quite a few windmills, but not many of my photos turned out this afternoon. We get to Pincher Creek and find the Sleepy Hollow campsite by about 5:30. We are beside the creek in a well treed campsite. We get parked and its a bull's eye level ! We have pasta, basa fish, salad and white wine. Walk after the supper dishes and back to the camper for our chunky monkey ice cream desert. We could not find Cherry Garcia ice cream. It was 36 degrees out today, but we have air conditioning. We are comfortably snugged in by 8:30.

At home: I have managed to get the house plants watered and watered a bit at the back, as well as top up the pond. I uploaded my videos of the Greek dancing to you tube and have one at the bottom of the page today. Dan and Carol should arrive in an hour or so, as they were catching the 9:00 ferry they said. It rained a bit last night and the trees are just starting to turn colors.
