Can Am 2007 - day one and photos from friends

Three photos from friends that I have cropped and Photoshopped a bit. Thanks Chris, Ken, Diane and Steve.

Here is my favourite cow photo, the bridge over the Fraser River, and the clouds in the sky as we ran for the hotel at the end of a lovely day out on the Ts. We drove approximately 110 miles if we managed to keep to the specified route and not get lost. Dinner on our own and most of us went up the block to the ABC restaurant. Good food, good service and reasonable prices.

Can-Am Tour, Mission B.C. - first day

I played with a few of the photos today and tried to 'old fashion' them. We were driving through farmland, for the most part, so the cow and barn pictures. There were a few casualties, some fixable and some that required the T to be put onto the trouble truck and hauled back to the hotel. Part of the fun on these tours is to help each other fix the cars.

This should complete day one... more to come for day 2 ...

Yesterday, I managed to get my grass mowed and did a bit of dead heading in the garden.

Can Am 2007 Mission, B.C.

We left the hotel at 8:30 the first day. It was warm but the fog was really thick, as we were traveling along the river. Our meet hotel is the Best Western in Mission. Its ok. Our window looks out on the parking lot where the cars are.
By the time we arrive at our first stop, the Kilby Historic Village at about 9:45 the fog has burnt off and we have a perfect day for touring. The biscuits at the little cafeteria are absolutely scrumptious.
