Can-Am Tour, Mission, B.C. - Second Day

A few of the sights on the way to Fort Langley. This is an interesting historic Village and Park. We have lunch here in a pub. There is very little time left to shop or take photos. We are soon on our way again, across the the Fraser River to complete our run for the day. It has been a lovely sunny day.

Can-AmTour - Second Day and photos from friends

I am including seven photos from Irene. (Hope you don't mind). The photos she sent me are from both days of the tour. The rest in this post are from my photos. To continue the story, we left Granny and Grumpy's and made our way to Fort Langley, all a little lighter in purse but heavier in old iron and glass.

Can-Am Tour, Mission, B.C., - Second day

On our second day of the tour, after breakfast we proceeded to Gramma and Grumpies, our first coffee stop and time to see all the antiques. Everything is for sale as they are downsizing. I found some blue glass that I had to bring home. It was a steal of a deal. This place is a marvelous collection of every kind of antique you can imagine. I have no idea how they keep it all so clean and dusted. There are 3 rooms of just dolls. The old machinery seems endless.

Before we set out I took a few photos of the folks in the parking lot before the drivers meeting. You know who you are. :))

Can Am 2007 - day one and photos from friends

Three photos from friends that I have cropped and Photoshopped a bit. Thanks Chris, Ken, Diane and Steve.

Here is my favourite cow photo, the bridge over the Fraser River, and the clouds in the sky as we ran for the hotel at the end of a lovely day out on the Ts. We drove approximately 110 miles if we managed to keep to the specified route and not get lost. Dinner on our own and most of us went up the block to the ABC restaurant. Good food, good service and reasonable prices.
