Selective Focus
The back of the bird
the front of the bird
The whole bird. The three robin photos are from the Robin feast day. A flock of robins arrived in my back garden and all tried to pile onto the holly tree to eat berries. As these robins are quite big they had some trouble balancing on the thinner branches of the tree. This made it difficult to catch a photo of any bird as at times the whole tree would be shaking.
The figs at various focuses.
I am always amazed at how the camera lens can shoot through the narrow openings to capture the back ground more in focus.
I just liked this bokeh and composition of the Harry Lauders walking stick in December.
We have been having heavy rains in the last couple of days. I must get out and see how high the river is now.
