Alpines in the Front Rock Garden

Alpines in the Front Rock Garden Posted by Hello

Yesterday the temperature got up to 20 degrees. Lovely sunny day. I mowed the grass, and weeded the small stone circle. Spread weed 'n' feed on the back grass. To see these small areas blooming in the color combinations, with similar blooming times, makes all the time spent very worthwhile.

I have the pots of rock plants from on the old deck that I must move to the front. The little white lily is spreading in the woodland garden, but only one bloom this year. There is a trillium in the woodland garden and one in the front garden by the bamboo.

My Page

Today I figured out how to make drop down menus and how to make them work. I am just so excited about this!! My page is going to be sooo full of gadgets. Its great fun doing this.

Trevor was over earlier and fixed Pat's computer -- we hope. I have not had any complaints today about blue screens or any other weird stuff. Hope its back to its old humming along, again.

We had Trevor for lunch with us, as he managed to arrive at 12:00. No problem, we were going to eat anyway. No charge for his time spent, either. He said he was only fixing things he had done before. I must remember to put a link to him on my page.

April in the Garden

Today I spent a few hours mowing the grass and weeding. Was good to get out. As usual, I lost track of time and was out till past time to make dinner. The thyme circle is looking pretty good now that the weeds are cleaned up. It needs maybe one more thyme plant to fill it in completely, as the bits I have added do not seem to take root and grow.

Gerry and Bev arrive on Wednesday, so I won't be getting much blogging or anything done for a week. Should be fun, though. I am looking forward to seeing them.
